Our story

Sun Infosys was founded in 2004 in Ludhiana, Punjab. We started by building accounting and ERP software for textile exporters, garment manufacturers, and trading houses across North India.

Over two decades, we've shipped:

• Custom accounting systems for 500+ SMBs
• QuickFA accounting platform — still serving customers from FoxPro to .NET migration
• GST-compliant billing and tax invoicing tools (since GST rollout in 2017)
• Industry-specific tools for textiles, retail, and CA practices

The recurring conversation: "The team is working from home. I have no idea what they're doing." Most off-the-shelf options are American SaaS — expensive per-seat fees, your data on someone else's cloud, and zero understanding of Indian compliance.

So we built Surbhi: on-premise, pay-once, designed for Indian SMBs, with DPDP Act compliance baked in.

Why we're different

We're not a Silicon Valley startup. We're a 22-year-old Indian company with paying customers from the early 2000s who still pick up the phone when we call. Our products live and die by word-of-mouth in the Punjab business community.

• Integration with payroll software (TallyPrime, Zoho Books, QuickFA)
• AI-driven productivity insights — automatic flagging of unusual patterns
• Linux + macOS agent support (most-requested feature)
• SOC 2 Type 1 audit for enterprise customers
